OK, so you have several campaigns in the same world. No problem. While Party A is in Town X, Party B is in the Kingdom of Y. Actions of one party may affect the other, and they may hear about each other. For fun, maybe have one big event when both parties work together vs ____ and at the end, they reach lvl11 or 21 or some such major development stage.
A completely different take is to have one person keep track of the HP and conditions that the monsters are under so that the DM doesn't have to do as much of the accounting work.
