Joe hit the nail on the head with this response. When I bought Arkham I was hoping for it to be better than what else they have put out for d20 bits. It was and above what I expected from them (granted the d20 character stats are still in the back of the book, but as I said above they now come with better stats and discriptions so less flipping is involved).jaerdaph said:
I can see why someone would think this with the adventure in the Gamemaster's Pack and to a lesser extent, Dunwich, but in the new Arkham supplement, I think Chaosium has listened to the criticism and really made an effort to put their best foot forward to satisfy d20 CoC fans. The d20 treatment is vastly improved, and it goes from a simple "afterthought" conversion to a set of useful new tools.
