While I won't bother to go into what sorts of things are likely to survive and not that's been covered fairly well so far) I will suggest that you not forget to crush some things over with lime & calcium deposits. Some gems could look like little more than grimey stones, their true value hidden under layers of calcium or lime, weapons could look in terrible shape but in fact be fine if the deposit layers are cleaned off.
Also, I'd say if there are scrolls present, I'd rule that some of the scroll cases had leaked a little over the centuries, with some of the writing on them partially washed away. Just to be obnoxious I wouldn't rule these destroyed or useless, but would instead call for a fairly high spellcraft roll to "read around" the damaged section(s), with the possible option for miscasting instead of the more simple option of "No, you can't make it out well enough, sorry man".
