I picked up 2e a few months back and it sat on my shelf while I looked through a stack of other stuff I had waiting to be read. The theme is Horror during Colonial American times (18th century). Other games of the era include Witch Hunter (1600's) and there's a steam-punk-colonial game whose name escapes me. Colonial Horror was a natural fit after WFRP died (again) as it as a TON of background material you can use (and all of it is free at your local library() and scenarios and ideas easily adapt from Cthulhu, etc.
The new frontier of a dark American continent, with collapsing Native "empires", raw magic, and the era of historical fantasy +social interaction + swashbuckling + oppression + flintlock firearms + close-to-melee combat is a good fit for me.
Anyways, thoughts on game play, images, miniature links, and whatever will be discussed here in this thread. I'm in the process of writing a convention-slot-length scenario, so updates and feedback is always welcome there as well.
Here is a Ready-to-Play random character generator that I have done up: http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?358355-Complete-Random-Character-Generator-(2-0)/page2&p=6415858#post6415858
