I recall seeing something clarifying how the different effects of Color Spray stacked, and my understanding was that the various effects were concurrent and did not take effect sequentially. For the life of me, I can't find anything on this to confirm or deny it. Can anyone help me out?

"2 HD or less: The creature is unconscious, blinded, and stunned for 2d4 rounds, then blinded and stunned for 1d4 rounds, and then stunned for 1 round. (Only living creatures are knocked unconscious.)"

So it's concurrent and consecutive. You're A, B, and C - then you're B and C - then you're just C.

With more hit dice, you shave off initial stages. If the target's 3-4 HD, they skip the ABC stage and only have BC/C. If the target's 5+ HD, they skip ABC and BC, and just suffer the C stage.
