Combine Manifester Levels? Yes or No?

I have a character who has 8 levels of Psychic Warrior, and 7 levels of Psion (Seer).

When I manifest a power, do I combine the manifester levels for level dependent effects, or do I look at each class seperately?

Yeah, I thought so, but I was working with PC Gen and they combined the levels. I suppose it was a bug. I'll report it to them...

Well the levels do combine for certain things - like abilities of a psi crystal which are based on total levels of psionic classes. While not manifester levels the levels of the 2 classes stack for these purposes - so maybe that is what messed things up.

As Hyp and Irdeggman have said. only some things stack.

It is very similar to Wizaed/Sorceror, some things stack, some do not.

In this case, manifester level does not.
