Combining turning abilities?

Is there any way for two characters to 'combine' a turning attempt, thereby increasing its potency?

Or is there a way for one character (say, a paladin) to aid another pc (say, a cleric) in turning?

Thanks.

No rules for this that I can find. In the spirit of the 'aid another' rules, you might have a turning check total of 10 from the lower-level cleric give a +2 to the higher-level cleric's check, giving him a better chance of affecting higher hit-die undead ... Oops, house rule territory, sorry. :D

This is from DotF, page 5:

You can use the aid another action to assist another cleric or paladin in a turning attempt. By touching the turning character and making a successful turning check (Charisma check) against DC 10, you add a +2 bonus on the turning check (you do not affect turning damage). Aiding another cleric or paladin counts against your maximum number of turning attempts per day.

My group had 3 clerics and 1 paladin at one time. We used this tactic quite effectively a couple of times. :D

i can imagine. My cleric is going Oozemaster so my cha will be dropping and I'm not gaining cleric levels so my turning with be in vain anyway. At least this way I can help the real cleric turn. :)

We've used this in my campaign on a couple of occasions, with massed ranks of acolytes helping to bolster the high priest. Quite an intense scene.

BTW, this just seemed an obvious use of "Aid Another". Hardly a house rule.
