Comedy relief in games?

When I master I like to use cimic relief. I mostly use it with unimportant NPC and during downtime. But in the Eberron Campaign I play in, we sometimes run rampant with it. For example once we had subdued and captured a really evil Warforged Cleric. He was black, run around with a scythe and poisoned wells in Sharn. We tried to make him speak about his Boss, but he would only mook us. So we didn't know where to put him, but weren't ready to give him to the guard before he told us. So we had an idea:
We had a bag of holding and remembered that warforged don't breath. I think it took one day till one of the PC's got bored and took him out for smalltalk. At that point the warforged was ready to tell us whatever we wanted to know, just to get out of that bag and handed over to the guard:)

We had a multi-GM game set in an underground setting. All the PCs were slaves and occasionally forced to fight in gladiatorial fights for glory, honor, food, and the pleasure of the overseers.

Well, when you've got two groups going into the arena to face off, you've got to figure out who goes in first. So, after the setup for the fight and the groups gathered at the center of the arena with the Ref, the PCs are asked to call it.

"Call what?" they ask.

The Ref looks impatient and annoyed. "The toss. Heads or tails."

So, the PCs figure a coin toss, which is odd, since they haven't seen coins since they've been enslaved. They pick one and announce it.

Another gate opens up and a Minotaur walks out carrying something wriggling in its left hand. As it gets closer, they can see that it has a gnome that is trying to get away. As the PCs watch on, some in confusion and some in horror, the Minotaur walks to the center of the arena. He then hurls the gnome far into the air. The gnome tries desperately to learn how to fly, but to no avail. It comes back down, heads first.

This goes on for a couple of arena fights. Sometimes the Minotaur does trick throws with the gnome. He's got a pretty cushy job, after all. He just has to amuse people. One time he threw the gnome a little too hard and it got stuck on a stalagtite. One time a gnome managed to sneak boots of flying on. He lived for about an extra half minute until the crowd shot him down (the arena rule on missle weapons was you could use them in combat, but if you hit someone in the stands, they got to shoot back). It never went well for the gnome, whichever way he landed.

Now, eventually one of the PCs asked why they tossed gnomes. The obvious answer was, of course, "Cause the dwarves refused."

Yeah, I know. its bad. I still find it funny, though.
