command

"Probably with people issuing commands like "autodefenestrate" (ie - throw yourself out a window), and DM's letting stuff like that rule the game."

That actually came up a time or two in the past. My Dm handles the situation pretty well I thought. My well educated cleric cast the spell and shouted "defenestrate" on the ogre cheiftan standing beside the temptingly open window... to which the ogre responded "huh?" and promptly walloped me with his greatclub of doom. Turns out that just because YOU know a word doesn't mean someone ELSE does... painful lesson.

You're still perfectly free to allow OTHER commands, but you should probably look down the allowable list for comparable power before you allow "strip" to get someone in full platemail to take it off, or "die" to work.

You can't forget that in the one or two rounds he is affected by command, he isn't going to be able to get out of his armor. Look at how long it takes. It's basically a "dont attack me for a round or two" spell
