Companies Fans would like to see Interlock

So what companies would the fans want to see use the Interlock?

On another board I mentioned that Mystic Eye and Green Ronin seem to have some overlap with their Arcane Mysteries and arcana series. Of course Mongoose with it's Encylopedia Arcana and Divine fits right in there.

I woulndn't mind seeing something where Fiery Dragon and Necromancer do a multi-part module that links through optional methods but doesn't require the user to have the other module. Something like an "official" Iron Cheif for D20.

Don't think this would happen...but I'd like to see an Interlock between Dark Portal Games and the Scarred Lands/S&SS.

In what manner? Campaign crossover? Idea sharing? Prestige Classes from one in the other?

Was thinking of a kind of campaign cross over, but more like particular items crossing over from one world to the other. Like maybe a Slacerian artifact in Azerok/Gateway and then the following adventure, they accidently send something from the White Robes encampment.

Companies using OGL Stuff

So, are any companies out there planning on using all of this OG Content that is floating around out there?

This Interlock seems interesting enough, sure, but I have seen quite a bit of OGC that is just sitting.

Basically, I think what I am getting at is this:

How many naval combat systems do we need?

I think it would be wonderful if the independent companies began to open up more communication between one another. As a consumer it is becoming something of a pain in the rear deciding which "class" book and "race" books to use.

Sure, mining each publication for snippets of info is cool and all, but a consolidated approach sure would be nice.

We are planning on using quite a bit of OGC in our upcoming products. From whom we are borrowing and the specific content borrowed are TBA. But it's coming. :) It's our belief that good OGC shouldn't sit around collecting dust - at least not for long ;)

Cheers!

Bluffside is currently in 3 other publisher settings, Mystic Eye, Troll Lords, and Dark Portal. We also are using some Mongoose stuff in Dry Lands, and using some of the netbooks stuff at http://fancc.org when applicable. Our spells will be in both Green Ronin's Grimoires and Paradigm's cards (I am 99% sure) and we are working with Dragonstar(FFG) adventures...we also have some potential stuff to crossover as well but need to confirm that before I spill the beans.

I am also open to discuss with any publisher the ability to use Bluffside and have a few we are speaking to about just that.

Call me strange, but I'd like to see a THG/S&SS interlock. The ancient asteroid was really the result of a war in an ancient titanic epoch... that sort of thing. :)

Excellent.

I for one am glad to see all of the cooperation starting to take shape.

It really has been one interesting trip watching this whole phenomenon take shape.

I wonder, would there be a need/desire for a Standards Forum that tracked the upcoming release schedules? I understand that such a thing is in place, set up by Dancey and the Gang, to govern the SRD and other rules related issues. What I am primarily concerned with is the instances of so many companies starting to produce so much similar material, I cannot help but wonder if it isn't going to start to hurt the sales of each company involved.

If there were some type of publishing forum that could be established, the members could make sure not to step on each others toes, as it were, as these products came out. Something else that might be seen would be an increase in partnerships, and personally I think the whole d20 movement would benefit.

Thoughts, flames?
