Companies Fans would like to see Interlock

Having been mentioned twice in the same thread, I thought I would stick my head in and offer a quick word.

First of all, at DPG, we are grateful for the cooperation that we've had behind the scenes from THG, Green Ronin, and Bastion Press. We are using both Freeport and Bluffside in our campaign setting, with the blessings of each of these publishers. I also have to say that Hal, Jim and Chris have helped point us in the right direction to getting our products to the market. Thanks guys! Also, Clark Peterson of Necromancer games has been extremely helpful on more than one occasion, and we will be doing some interlocking with some monsters from SSS and Green Ronin on a future product (also with permission). By the way, I am going to say that you can look for our first printed product in stores this fall, with many more closely on the heels of that one.

As for what we may see in the future, I wouldn't mind doing something with some OGC from a Bastion Press product or two, and I would actually love to do something more involved with SSS. What that may be, and if they would be interested doing an interlock project with us are questions that are completely unanswered (unproposed really) at this time.

As for something I would love to see - a multi part adventure produced by Necromancer games, Fiery Dragon, Green Ronin, THG, and MEG that may use Freeport and Bluffside as imporant adventure locations and monsters from Legions of Hell, Armies of the Abyss, and Nightmares and Dreams I & II. It would have to end up being a big ocean spanning Cthulhuesque sort of story that may reach high levels. Just a thought...

As to OGC just sitting out there:

In our first run of Spell Decks, we are going to have Spells from:

Ambient
Green Ronin
Living Imagination
Thunderhead

Ware not shy about using other folks OGC, because much of it really good stuff!

Look for more OGC to make its way into both our published releases and our Living Arcanis Campaign.

Oh, we're interested, all right! (I've actually been meaning to e-mail you about that!) but we're so busy getting caught up in other things right now that Bluffside's been on the agenda for a while but hasn't hit more than e-mail discussion.

We've got to talk for sure at GenCon!!!

Don't do this to me ;) I can hardly keep up with Fiery Dragon's products (the encyclopaedia is still WAY behind, but I'll probably finish the OGC of the Toolkit this weekend)...
If I have to add Bluffside, too I can count my free hours on one hand... Oh wait... it already IS that low... ;)
But as of what I've seen of Bluffside it looks GREAT... I guess I'll have to order it anyway...

My innie's an outtie at this point Hal. :) But when I get the innie, I'll let you know. ;)
That just sounded wrong (LOL) well if you have any names and e-mail addy's I can always try....?

As for the rest of you---thanks and can't wait to see you all at the cons!

How many naval combat systems do we need?

One more, please ;) While the inclusion of underwater rules in several of the aquatic d20 supplements has been quite welcome, I'm still waiting for a book dedicated to undersea adventures.

Perhaps we could see a "Seafarer's Handbook" / "Seas of Blood" / "Broadsides!" / "Skull & Bones" / (etc, etc etc) Interlock.

We are in the process of adding that in our schedule for 2003, we hinted to that and even gave a cool new underwater race in Bluffside!

Well in some ways, you arleady can. The PrCs from Seas of Blood and Broadsides didn't really overlap and the locations from Seafarer's Handbook can be used in either other book. Now Skull & Bones I hope has some real meat for Freeport but will probably stick to it's roots in historical authenticity.
