Far Horizons: Sea of Ishamark??

Is it still due out 3rd quarter, or have you locked down a date??

Our whole schedule is messed up and shifted, the water books will not be out till 2003, we have had 2 sets of authors and both had issues so they fell through, we are signing one real soon and it should be being written as we speak, 2002 will see:
Interludes: Sands of Pain
Dry Lands desert sourcebook
Heart of the Machine-Dragonstar adventure (maybe 2003, early)
we are gearing up 2003 to get much more done and ahead of schedule so we will not have problems like we are now.

Had some bumps but all getting smooth now:D

As for something I would love to see - a multi part adventure produced by Necromancer games, Fiery Dragon, Green Ronin, THG, and MEG that may use Freeport and Bluffside as imporant adventure locations and monsters from Legions of Hell, Armies of the Abyss, and Nightmares and Dreams I & II. It would have to end up being a big ocean spanning Cthulhuesque sort of story that may reach high levels. Just a thought... [/B]

Oh my GAWD! That would be awesome. Hell, while at they were at it they could incormporate REAMS of OGC stuff. I am seeing a product similar to the Cthulu campaign books, a big 350+ page campaign book, done in 12 or 15 different "Acts" with each act sponsored by a different d20 publisher.

K

(I would start my own company to publish d20, but I couldn't think of what to write for my version of Naval Combat Rules)

Call me strange, but I'd like to see a THG/S&SS interlock. The ancient asteroid was really the result of a war in an ancient titanic epoch... that sort of thing. :)

I had the old city the home of that destroyed race that the Titans sicced the Gods on. Sclarians or somethng? You know, the psionicisit.

My take on this? You don't really need Green Ronin or THG for this as Freeport and Bluffside might be able to make an apperance without 'em.

Fiery Dragon could start the game off as players investigate some cultists who are corresponding with Serpent People in Freeport and an unknown faction in Bluffside.

Prior to getting to either location though, the players have to move through Bard's Gate, fight more cultists there and stop a few summonings even as they battle some necromancers whose bodyguards are unsuaully virulent. (Necromancer core class and Death Knights.)

An ocean adventure pitting the players into the Depths of Despair and destroying said location as numerous monsters converge upon the spot and are only driven back by a second sounding of the Horn pits players in Freeport where they find out that the true master cultist is in the ruins of Bluffside.

Their they discover that the arch fiend has unleashed an Armagedon Dragon that must be battled least it destroy the fair city of Bluffside.

Yeah, that's the ticket...

I don't know too much about the serpent people in Freeport (I just played "Death in Freeport") but Fiery Dragon got it's own serpent people in/around the west wood barony...
They MIGHT be compatible but it's more likely that they are NOT compatible.

Oh sure, cut us out of the fun just because we played nice and made Freeport open! :P

Hey hey, I said might be open. I knew Freeprot was and I know that THG is open to having others use Bluffside.

I said this as a serious thought because while I would love to see something along those lines with multiple publishers almost like a real life Iron DM, I doubt all those companies could do it which is why I cut it down to a few more managable total.

I am messing with ya...if it came about with or without me I would be happy.

Interlock Adventure

Well I guess the real question then is can something like this be done? Some sort of module Interlock where adventuers are tied together with common threads and bonds that allow the GM to purchase any or all the adventuers and would companies do it?

I personally say no. It's not possible. Not because no one wants to or can't, but because everyone has a very full plate right now. Can it be done in the future? Maybe. Will it? That's something that only the publishers can answer. Do the fans want it? How about a front page poll?
