Tsk. You should read it sometime; it's pretty a pretty solid campaign setting.

My Venture Maidens campaign setting arrived in the mail last Friday. (I backed a lot of Kickstarters during the Pandemic, and it's nice to see that a lot of the printing issues and backlogs are starting to dissipate. Almost every week, something new shows up in my mailbox!) I've only barely cracked the cover, but I'm already blown away by the level of detail. Considering all of the posts on ENWorld about a "warlord" or a "marshal" class, I think the Legionnaire subclass would be very popular here.

I have. IMHO, Eberron is better, and so was the Nentir Vale, which I believe that you skipped with 4e.
I never played 4E, no...maybe a couple of times?. But I owned the books for a little while, and I agree--Nentir Vale was pretty good. Of all of the 'default settings' that Wizards of the Coast released, I think 4E had the best lore. (I say it all the time.) It's pretty easy to see how much of Wildemount was influenced by 4E and the NV setting.

Handing her the silver trophy is hardly a "righteous conquest" but hey, I'm here for our gold-trophy-winning beholder.
