People keep talking about the kobolds, but I'm more impressed with the Shifters and the Genasi. They still have all four of their options in the running, and while the list has shrunk to just 40 options they have barely been challenged at all.

Nah, Dwarf and Gnome are golden, kobolds winning would just be to settling for lowgrade in order to be contrarian.

To be fair, I like what I have done with the elves, dwarves, and gnomes in my own homebrew world so there are some version of these three species that I like.
