That is some pretty crappy experiences then. IME they are nothing like that.

Neither are paladins or paladin players, but that doesn't stop people from being judgmental about them.

But screw wizard supremacists. They are a bane on this game.

I am going to ask the relevant question why does everyone vote down what is unlikely to win? as this is the last round you want to get out clear competitors first so they do not sneak to victory.

IME, wizard as a class in my experience attracts more than its share of players or characters who feel like they are entitled to be the best class or gods who lord over other players and dominate play at the table through their magic.

I strongly object.

You have very different players than I do. I don't play D&D with strangers, we're all friends at the table.

Really? Not for us; my friends and I don't care that much about the intentions of the game devs. I think it would drive us up the wall.

It’s also about the people here in this forum who expect god wizards and hate 4e for nerfing their god wizards while keeping fighters’ faces in the mud.

No, they aren't, and I never said they were...

But they certainly can be, with the smites and such on crits.

Don't hate the class, hate the player who acts like that.

(FWIW, I was joking about paladins because that is what you upvoted when downvoting wizard...)

Take out the word "wizard" and I agree with you. "Wizard" isn't the problem, it is the player who acts like the supremacist.
