Company of the Random Encounter - Characters

The purpose of this thread is to provide stat blocks for the PCs in the Company of the Random Encounter story hour.

I'll post each player character as they are first introduced to the game, and then re-post them each time they gain a new level.

The stat block formats for the level 1 characters have now been updated to a more useful format.

The Padre's Bio

The Padre's player is the only one so far too do up a history/bio of his character. I shall be sure to work it into the campaign. You've got to appreciate those players who give you such handy plot hooks to work with! :)

Wolfgang was the second child, but first son, of Hans and Welma Priem, a passionate priest of a pacifist Dunker faith about 50 miles from Furundy, in a small country province. His childhood was simple, playing frequently with his older sister, Emily, and also regularly hunting the local woods for small game with his crossbow.

As a member of a very religious family, he was naturally well versed in religion, and it was expected of Wolfgang to take over the flock from his father. When he was 16 years old, a disaster occurred. While helping his father set up the ceremonies in the church for the next day, he was in the cloister when he heard loud voices coming from the main assembly area. Rushing out through the door, to see what was happening, he was knocked unconscious by someone behind him. Wolfgang regained consciousness to find the Church aflame and his father fatally injured. As his father died in his arms, he said,"...the one eyed man....".

Racing out of the flaming church, Wolfgang swore vengeance and turned away from his pacifist faith. To make matters worse, the local watchmen decided that his father's death was an accident. He left home and decided to try and track down his father's killers, though with such little information he knew he would stand little chance.
