I don't have the books in front of me right now, but this is how my DM looks at this kind of issue. Unless there is errata out on the spells in question, the most recent publication would take precedence. However; if the DM feels that the spells are broken in any of the publications, he can certainly make a ruling on how the spell can be put into play.

Oddly enough, the (CDiv) errata'd version is also different from the CAd version - so there are at least 3 versions of the spell out there. An overpowered original, a really weak errata, and a third in the middle.

Yep, and Hawkeye appears both in CAd and CD. Any ideas why? There is a second spell listed in both books, but I don't remember.
Infestation of Maggots is listed twice in different levels in CD, wheras Dance of the Unicorn is not listed (it is among the spell descriptions, though).
Lasher Dragon: Thanks for the link....but something is wrong there: I'm now a half-elf ranger of Mielikki! Noo, there must be an error! Mielikki is ok, but a half-elf?! (Hm, maybe I died defending my treasure and someone cast Reincarnate. I don't remember...).

The test is broken and stupid. It identified me as Chaotic Neutral, a follower of Tempus, and as a Fighter/Paladin.

LOL Dark Dragon & Korimyr - I'm not backing the test, it's just the first one that popped up in a google. If anyone has a better one, please post it.

I came out TN (LG, LN) Gnome (Dwarf) Monk/Ranger (bard), follower of Callarduran Smoothhands.
I hate gnomes. IMC gnomes are evil, stunted monstrosities who forge dreadfully powerful magical weapons. Sort of a cross between Midgard dwarves from Frostburn and black Ogrun from IK.

I'm worried I came out as a Lawful Evil Human Fighter Ranger Follower Of Iyachtu Xvim. I'm pretty sure that I'm not evil. I did answer that money and power were important not because I want them to be but because in this world they are.
