Rock to Mud, Rock to Lava, these have good flavor, but are essentially subsets of Polymorph and thus should have some advantage in area covered, speed, spell level, or *something*

I thought PAO works only with objects so you cannot target the ground and turn it into lava. A special use of PAO allows the caster to replicate the effects of other spells, including Rock->Mud and Mud->Rock, but those don't include the new (and higher level) Rock->Lava obviously.
