Complete Arcane

In fact, does anyone think that Wizards haven't actually come up with a name yet? They're racking their heads in the same way that we are, trying to work out a useable name? ;)

Cheers!

Here are the good ones I found:
Complete Ace
Complete Adept
Complete Artiste
Complete Gnome (Gnome? ;))
Complete Master
Complete Virtuoso
Cheers!

Don't forget "The Complete Savant". :)

Although I'm really betting on Complete Expert. Hopefully, the emphasis will be on skill-oriented characters in general, not merely stealthy ones. I wouldn't mind seeing a core "sage", "tinkerer", or "alchemist", class for instance.

Still would love to see a Complete Monster book to update Savage Species though.

Complete Idiot-Savant? ;)

It would be nice. Oh well - SS was an important step on the way to 3.5E, and I can generally ignore it and just use rules from the 3.5E MM.

Cheers!

With all suggestions here, the Complete Expert is the one that sounds the best to me.

Complete Stealth as so little to do with bards that I hope they don't pick that one.

Complete Warrior has stuff usable by Fighters, Barbarians, Rangers, Paladins, Arcanists, Bards... it just doesn't limit itself to just a few classes. I'm assuming (probably wrongly) that the other books will be aspect based rather than class based.

Imagine the quantity of feats and prestige classes that will be available after all four books are released. Maybe it's just me, but I think they should focus less on those two aspects and a bit more on other aspects of the game.

Complete Warrior has over 80 feats. So we might be looking at an average of over 300 feats for those books. Plus the feats in BoED. And the Player's Handbook feats. Assuming that I'm wrong in my estimate of the next books number of feats, we can still safely assume over 400 feats in all in 3.5.

400 feats. In all.

400 feats.

Just saying it feels weird. Four hundred. A typical non-fighter can get about 8 feats at level 20. 8 out of 400. Eight out of four hundred.

Maybe it's just me.

I'll go sleep on it now...

Complete Warrior might have been feat-heavy since it's aimed at Fighrers and Fighter-types, and ways of improving fighting. The primary way to do so is via feats.

I'm guessing CA and CD will have feats but may pay more attention to the magic side of the equation, with more spells, domains, etc.

From the RPGA document, we know that Complete Divine has at least 43 feats. That sounds about the right number to me.

So, assume the same number in Complete Arcana and Complete Expert, with some overlap.

Cheers!

I wonder what kind of core wizards we'll see? Maybe the Warmage will be lifted from the Minis Handbook like the Favored Soul was for CD?

Hmm. For that matter, wouldn't be surprised to see the MH's Marshal class reprinted in the pages of a Complete Expert. :)

I hadn't thought of that. That'd be cool. :)

I'd expect at least one Oriental class, though.

Cheers!
