The example given on page 77 in the right colum under "Third"....
Improved Smiting suggested as a Divine feat...
Improved Smiting is listed as a General feat on the table and in the description of the feat.

I think that because a divine feat usually requires the turn/rebuke undead requirement, that Improved Smiting might actually be a General Feat.

That's just me.

Besides, there are enough templates that grant the ability to smite. See Celestial, and Fiendish. Listing it as General is entirely appropriate.

p. 78/86
True Believer: Is it a +2 or is it a +3 bonus on the save?

p. 78/81
Table 3-1, Elemental Healing and Elemental Smiting
Benefit: incomplete/misunderstandable entry: It is not the usual turn/rebuke attempt as stated in the description of the feats on page 81

Thanks Scharlata - I'd never be able to catch these or the things that Silveras's catches. I appreciate your hard work, and I know that all too often that isn't said.

Now for True Believer, I think that it would be a +3 because most feats that only support one thing are +3. Feats that support two skills are usually +2 for each skill. Although this isn't a skill that is supported as quite possibly a +3 miight be overpowered, I think for my campaign, and until I hear further (not that anybody in my game will be taking that feat, I'm sure) I'll use +3.

Next, I don't understand what you mean that these T/R undead's are different than a normal T/R. Would you explain?

Thanks.

[...] Improved Smiting [...] a General Feat.

Yepp, my thoughts entirely. I only wanted to state, that in the description Improved Smiting is wrongly [???] used in an example to describe the activation of a Divine feat. :D

Kind regards

Me too :)

As I understand, the normal T/R undead attempts may be used to activate a Divine feat, that requires the "energy" to be fueled by a divine force.

The "Elemental" Feats state in their description that you may only use a T/R elemental attempt - NOT a standard T/R undead attempt - to activate their use, if I remember correctly.

That distinction is NOT made clearly on the short descriptive text in table 3-1. Not that it is THAT important, but I thought it wouldn't hurt either....

Kind regards

More items following soon.......

The general rule laid out in the Errata files WotC has provided so far is that the specific text over-rides the table listing. The text says +2, the table says +3, so the text wins and it is +2.

p. 165

Kind regards

It does feel that way at some points, doesn't it ?

Actually, that is correct. All entries with the separate word "Storm" should come brefore the longer single word "Stormrage".
