Complete Divine Errata Items I have found

So, as per Silveras's suggestions, I sent in the errata item of Gehenna not being listed under "The Final Destination" section of Complete Divine in to customer service. Here's the response:

This omission appears accidental. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a definite answer for you, however. We can only help clarify existing rules, but we cannot offer explanations for why the rules were created in specific ways.

Thanks!

Unsatisfying, but unsurprising. The missing text is probably on the cutting room floor, and it's likely that only the original authors would know what it was. Hopefully they'll still get it into the errata file.

Dance of the Unicorn:
To whom belongs the spell? The clerics or the druids?
Cleric's spell list states: 5th level cleric spell
Druid's spell list states: blank
Description of the spells states: Druid 5th level

Hi!

One answer from custserv you might like to read :)

Dance of the Unicorns: This is a druid spell as well as the 5th level spell for the purification domain. Any time the description of an item contradicts its listing, the description takes precedence.

Thanks!

The general rule laid out in the Errata files WotC has provided so far is that the specific text over-rides the table listing. The text says +2, the table says +3, so the text wins and it is +2.

If I take into account what silveras and custserv wrote, than I'll go now with the +2 bonus for True Believer.

Kind regards

Complete Divine Clarifications

With your help, David Noonan and I have identified some rules that we feel need to be adjusted in Complete Divine. Although it is too early to release official errata for this book, please consider these changes official:

pg. 11; Table 1-3: The Shugenja
Class Spells per Day
Level 8th 9th
14th - -
15th - -
16th 3 -
17th 4 -
18th 5 3
19th 6 4
20th 6 6

pg. 80; Divine Metamagic feat
Prerequisites: Ability to turn undead or rebuke undead, selected metamagic feat.
When you take this feat, choose a metamagic feat you already have. This feat applies only to that metamagic feat. As a free action, you can take the energy from turning or rebuking undead and use it to apply a metamagic feat to divine spells that you know. ...
Special: Each time you take this feat, choose a different metamagic feat you know to which to apply it.

pg. 168-169: Miasma
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates (and see text)
The subject cannot speak. Conversation is impossible, spells with verbal components cannot be cast, bardic music cannot be performed, and no noises other than coughing and spitting are possible.

General Notes Concerning Errata:

In general, if a mechanic works as printed, we don’t change it, even if it doesn't exactly work as the designers and developers intended. However, we feel that the spell miasma as printed in Complete Divine may detract from players' enjoyment of the game and therefore needs further adjustment.

We are sorry for any confusion these errors may have caused you in the use of this product, and we hope that these clarifications will help you enjoy the Complete Divine in your gaming group more.

We are aware of other errata issues. As with all our products, formal errata will be issued as soon as we have time to compile it. The official errata for the Complete Divine will include the information presented above.

I just found one that I didn't see mentioned in this thread:

Magical Beast Wild Shape [Wild] [Epic] on page 90 has Beast Wild Shape listed as a prerequisite. According to the 3.5 Conversion Guide, it should be dropped as a prerequisite.

If this was already mentioned, my apologies. :)

p. 166, Flame of Faith spell

The spell's target states the weapon used must be nonmagical. The text then says the effects bestowed by this spell do not stack with a weapon's enhancement bonus or flaming or flaming burst effects. A nonmagical weapon cannot have an enhancement bonus or flaming or flaming burst

I agree about the flaming or flaming burst, but a nonmagical masterwork weapon does have a +1 enhancement bonus.
