(Complete Warrior) Giantbane and Close-Quarters Fighting

If a character with the Giantbane tactical feat and Close-Quarters Fighting were to use the Climb Aboard ability succeeds at moving "onto" a creature two size categories larger, is their an attack of opportunity granted from Close-Quarters Fighting for the grapple check opposed to the characters climb check?

Also, if a character is using the Death from Below ability from Giantbane is using a reach weapon, does this affect the single attack?

And, if a character with Close-Quarters Fighting is using a reach weapon, can they still make an attack of opportunity against foes that attempt a grapple from inside of the reach range?

I don't have CW handy, so I ca't answer the first two. The third one is a definite no. You don't get to make AoOs unless you threaten the area where the AoO is provoked.

1). I'd say yes unless the feat says they don't provoke one.

2) No because death attacks using reach weapons still are melee weapons.
