I ordered the same day day you put in the STL (saturday, 11/29). Even with free shipping, I received my order on Monday 12/1.

(I did get the STL discount so I know I followed the right links, when placing it etc.)

Seeing how this was the first time I've used the STL discount / process, I don't know enough to say for certain (not that you were asking me specifically), but your guess, above, makes sense.
