Argh. I voted for what classes are actually being played in my game because the poll was on the main ENWorld page as "What Classes from CW are in your game".
This is the only 3.5 book I own that I disallow something from:
've seen one game almost destroyed by a Frenzied Berserker PC (though I wasn't the DM and the other PC's where a bit low on the power, so I might give it a second try) and the kensai looks a fair bit to good, even for me (though again, arguments could be made).
I used to feel like the dervish and frenzied berserker were both crazy, but now I don't feel as strongly about the dervish. I wouldn't disallow the samurai just because I feel like the class stinks, that's not really fair. If someone really felt like the samurai fit their concept, I would let them play one (and someone did, for a time), but I would (and have) encourage them to try one of the similar archetypes.
A few of them, though I may change the names and some details for them. (The arch enemy of the darkwood stalker for example is not the orcs, but those uncultured round ears... humans.)
