Computer Emergency

Well my computer is back under WinXP now, but it would seem that after much testing and prodding of my computer that it was not a software problem. It would seem that my aging motherboard & processor (both now 4+ years old) are dying. However this is a major problem for me as I have no cash flow with which to replace them. So here I am stuck with a glitchy machine until I can scrape up enough money to replace them.

I got on IRC, and asked the same question.. master0fmonks was kind enough to tell me what I needed to do.. if what he told me to do works i should be on my computer later today..
