Con drain and polymorph

When you polymorph into a new form, your hit points do not change, regardless of the new con. What happens if you're a wizard with 12 con, and you polymorph into something with a 21 con, and you lose 3 points of con for some reason. If you initially had 26 hit points , what is your new hit point total?

Good question. I'm not sure offficially how they would do it, but since the caster does not gain more HPs depoendant on the Con of the new creature, then I'd think that losing Con in that form would also not effect the caster's HP. However, be wary of trasforming back as that negative con will effect you in any form.

The Con drain would carry over. Since your hit points are based on your original Con, you would lose hit points based on your original Con. 12 drops to 9, and you lose 2hp/level. Ouch.
