Conan DVD Question

First Post
I've got a question for people out there with both the standalone Conan the Barbarian DVD and the set where it comes with Conan the Destroyer.

Is the movie on the Conan the Barbarian DVD the "Extended Version" advertised on the standalone DVD box?

I was looking at both in Best Buy today and ended up buying the set because it was a dollar cheaper than just Conan the Barbarian, appeared to include all of the other features from the standalone DVD and the listed running time was two minutes LONGER than the running time listed on the standalone box. I'm theorizing they just stuck the extended version on the DVD for the set and left it at that. Does anyone know if there is still an extended version out there somewhere that I'm missing?

Thanks!

Well I dont know if this helps- Ive never seen the specs for the Conan set. I have the Conan the Barbarian widescreen collectors edition from 200 I think. It has extended footage, commentary deleted scenes. NO 5.1 support just 2.0.

Running time for my version is 2 hours 9 minutes.

Also, your version of Conan The Destroyer is cut. The uncut version is only being released in Europe as a Region 2 disk for some reason. Don't know what is in the uncut version (gore cut for the PG-13 rating, maybe?).
