Balavous, meanwhile, skewers another with one of his arrows, the second impacting in the flesh of another spider. Santoro steps back and hurls another dagger at the spider Balavous wounded. A spider leaps at Thorkin, and sinks its fangs into him. He grunts with the impact. Another makes to bite Balavous, but misses.

Crying in rage and pain Thorkin yells "Cursed spawn of the wastes... die already will ye!!"

Power Attack -3 to hit, +3 to damage; Attack bonus +6 to hit, 1d12+8 damage; and I am sure...here comes the poison

Knowing that so far it is just luck that has kept the spider fangs from sinking into his flesh, Balavous backs up firing again and then moving to the right to get a better position for firing at either the same beast or a new opponent.

OOC: using shot on run feat for better positioning with the rapid shot at the spider that attacked me

Santoro will circle around and fire a dagger into the spider Thorkin is engaging to gain his sneak attack damage.

[-2 to hit +2 Defense from Combat Ex; Ranged Attack +6 (from Sneak Attack style and Dex -2 for the CE) Damage 1d4-1 +sneak attack.

Thorkin throws the spider off his back and hefts his sword. He swings the steel blade, black with the blood of its kin, but misses. Santoro hurls a dagger at the spider which assaulted his friend, impacting with the sickening crunch of shattered chitin. Balavous falls back, letting fly two arrows in quick succession. One flies harmlessly over the pursuing spider's head, but the other finds its mark with deadly force.

As the spider flies off Thorkin's back, it quickly rights itself on the ground and lunges at him, its fangs glancing off his mail harmlessly. The one that had been pursuing Balavous veers off, and lunges at Santoro, but the Zamorian dodges nimbly out of the way of the fangs.

as it is fun, and even if a minor wound would kill it, Power Attack -5 to hit, +5 to damage; Damage 1d12+10!!! if I hit

Santoro will circle around behind the last one, and if Thorkin's attack doesn't kill it stab it with his stilleto.

Feeling his compainions have the spider situation under control, Balavous looks around for further possible trouble, the nights darkness no trouble for him.
