Confessions of a Niche Gamer

Colonel: $55. Fifty-five. Dude. The sweet sweet BioWare bucks are not falling THAT heavily.

Joshua Randall: True dat. Edmonton has the requisite bookstores, which have the basics, and the comic stores, which have bupkus, and this store and possibly another one. This one was perhaps a half hour's drive, over in St. Albert.

For the record, though, I DID try my friendly local gaming store. Now I must purchase online... preferably from the ENWorld store. :)

takyris, you're talking about Mission right? Nice store, but they don't seem to quite understand how to stock D&D stuff. I was in there a week ago and had a heck of a time finding anything until I noticed a copy of the Ultimate Equipment Guide (1 & 2) which I did grab. They have a huge selection of FFWD stuff as well. I'm thinking they got burned and don't want to clear it out. If you are still looking for stores, I was surprised that Warp2 actually has decent prices now. I've been in Calgary for a few years and well spoiled by Sentry Box, so its a big adjustment going from the store with nigh on everything, to nigh on nothing.
