What is this game like, BFG? What miniatures does it come with?

Thanks,

Here's a cut & paste of the HYBRID box set descriptor blurb:

"Before disappearing, Dirz the Heresiarch, founder of the Empire of the Scorpion, nourished a shadowy project: Code Hybrid. Many decades later, Dirz’s forgotten laboratories mysteriously reactivated themselves… Today, monsters spring from the innards of the earth! Only a handful of warriors stand between these impious creatures and the rest of the world: the Griffins of the Lodge of Hod.
Come and join a blood-filled battle in the gloomy underground laboratories!

The Hybrid© game box includes 13 figurines, 1 Hybrid© rule book, 110 cards, 9 playing boards and 2 dice."

The figurines icluded are:

Griffins:
4 Purifiers ( w/ cool sword/guns = 3 different poses/casts)
Ambrosius ( leader w. rifle )

Alchemists:
3 Hybrid clones ( different poses/casts)
1 Abberation clone
4 Flesh Pests ( basically vermin gernades )

You can expand these skirmish armies with other figurines from their existing stock of Scorpion/Griffon Armies

The rulebook contains different scenarios that utilize the figures and tiles that can easily be converted into a D&D adventure based on exploring the foul laboratories...

I've had a problem with a couple of bad castings from them in the past where hands have been misformed due to air bubbles or missing metal so if you can check the blister carefully.
Yes, make sure to check the blister as closely as you can. I picked up 5 miniatures at GenCon, and one of them (my favorite, of course) is missing a good size chunk out of his side. The way the mini assembles, I probably wouldn't have known it anyway until putting him together, but it's worth being careful. The others were just fine, however.

what scale are those rackham minis in? They look alot larger than 25-30 mil high to me.
I believe they are 32mm scale, so yes, they are a bit bigger than Reaper and the other big manufacturers, but not by a huge amount. The detail and sculpts are so great I don't mind that they are a bit taller.
