Connors' Monster Manual for African setting

Ingogo

Degenerate orcish creatures (with baboonish features) that cling to their ancient magical past. (Well some do - many are just brutes ;)).

Anyone Using African?

I know there was at least one other DM out there seeking African stuff a little while ago.

Are there other DMs with African themed games? Has anyone use any of these creatures? (Even out of African-themed games). Anyone using Nyambe by Atlas Games? Anyone want other African creatures on this list?

Any comments at all ;)?

I don't usually enjoy lots of little .DOC files, so it's hard to comment.

Would you consider putting your creations up in a wiki, for easier browsing? Or maybe collect them into a single PDF?

Thanks, -- N

BTW, the Ingogo look cool, but the subtype "superior" seems bland.

Also, have you converted the "Worms" disease into a 4e disease track?

Cheers, -- N

The biggest problem with this thread is that it is composed of many small files with almost nothing posted otherwise. I looked at the first couple and the were formatted decently but I didn't bother checking numbers or anything.

If you want any solid comments on your work, you're better off putting out in the thread for people to see without downloading anything. This site is slow enough as is.

Agreed. The write-ups should work well but you may want to put them in ONE BIG FILE in your original post and just bump with each addition. It appears as if you're getting some ideas from Nyambe, so sometimes references there may also be helpful for people with that book.

(used Nyambe extensively in our Conan D&D campaigns)

Ah, thanks for comments everyone. So the preferred option is clearly display what I have done.

Would the EN World Wiki be best for this?

The reason I have them as Word docs is to use for play. You can print them straight out and the are ready to go. I thought this was good, but I guess it isn't good for browsing (only if you know you want to use such a creature right)?

Definately using Nyambe (A LOT). Stated that and each critter does reference that book, when I have used it for inspiration.
