Construct Enhancement Feats

Dr. Nyugen

First Post
For my first question to my fellow gamers, I would like to pick your brains about beefing up your golems, effigies, etc.

I am aware of the existence of feats that enhance undead (corpsecrafter, nimble bones, etc) and summoned creatures (augment summoning), but is there a feat in existence that provides enhancements to anything you have built "yourself"? Or is that a prime example for home brew rules, ad-hoc rules, and simple experimentation?

I'm not sure what you're looking for, but I suggest you take a look at the Artificer from the Eberron campaign setting, and the Improved Homonculus feat from Magic of Eberron.

The Eberron setting/books also contain the Construct Grafts, although that's kind of the other way around (adding construct parts to a living being)

Homonculi are a very specific type of construct (similar to a familiar, you can even take a Homonculi as a familiar with the improved familiar feat) and the Eberron setting/books contain several examples, each focussed around a specific goal (crafting, stealing, fighting, ranged attacks, carrying your stuff, etc.)
