The latter is what the former means. Sometimes, I think colloquial speech really goes over your head, Umbran! :)

Um, boss? I think you're the one who frequently posts that he doesn't understand our crazy moon language... :p

on that topic, a friend of mine had done some research, and some of the US's crazy accents (like maine, NY, and hillbilly) came from specific areas in great Britain (or whatever y'all call that islandy thing that isn't europe, asia, india, africa or here).

even the phrase "y'all" traced back to a certain region over there.

So, technically, we are speaking "normal" it's just that we kept all the old ways of talking while Morrus-landians moved on.

How does Morrus like his homeland (presuming that) to be called by us? I've already misspelled it too many times.

I happened to be taking a long-weekend vacation to New York, around the time that both The Matrix and The Phantom Menace were hitting cinemas there, some time before I could expect to see either in the UK. I'd barely even paid attention to the Matrix hype, and would have gone into it completely cold if I hadn't made the mistake of reading the Empire Magazine review, which spoiled the basic premise on the assumption that anyone interested in the movie would already know about it.

I did get to see both movies during my trip. I was looking forward to The Phantom Menace far more, but I'm sure you can guess which one I enjoyed.

For The Force Awakens, I carefully avoided all the hype, reviews and articles, but was still hit by one major spoiler simply because some ass decided it'd be funny to post it in the comments to a completely unrelated Youtube video just because he could. No matter how cautious you are, there's always a risk.
