Convention Forum?

Is there any interest in a Forum simply about conventions, maybe tuck it away somewhere near Gamers Seeking Gamers?

I think that would be useful.
It might help publishers plan out which conventions they will go to as well.

I actually like this idea a lot. We'll kick it around. An alternative may be a link to conventions, right off of the main news page.

Actually, my ideas for the convention forum is that we could use it to talk about hooking up at the site, finding out where we can get some good grub (I haven't seen anything about a McD's near the GenCon site!), maybe arrange a potluck dinner or something.

Nah, use the general forum for this. It wouldn't work in its own forum, because not enough people would visit it.

WOTC has a massive message board system, and even with all those billions of posters you can hear the virtual crickets chirping over in their own "Conventions" forum.

Still, it would be valuable resource to have an upcoming convention listings/schedule here at ENworld somewhere. I'm surprised there isn't already. Or is there one here and I just haven't noticed it?

If this gets the gets going, thread titles should always list the general location and time of year.
