D&D 3E/3.5 Converting 4e Monsters Back Into 3.5

This is probably as good a place as any to ask about this (but if not, correct me, OK?). I like some of the new monsters introduced in 4th Edition, but I want to convert them back to 3.5 to use in the games I currently run. Is there any kind of reverse conversion guide available that covers this, or do I just wing it?

nope, just gotta wing it.
Which ones are you trying to convert?

Mostly the immolith and the new demons from the Demonomicon articles, and anything else that would fit an Abyss related campaign. Most of the monsters have 3.5 stats, so I'm only worried about new stuff.

The abilities the monster display when reaching "bloodied" status - would a 1/day special ability be an appropriate conversion?
