Converting D&D Monsters to Castles & Crusades

Hey folks...2 part question

Are there any official or semi-official guidelines/documents converting 3.x D&D monsters to C&C?

part two...even better for me..are there any docs/guidelines for converting AD&D (1 or 2E) to C&C?

I don't have the C&C Monsters & Treasures book, and am looking at running a couple of sessions of C&C with the intent to possibly switch over. I'd like to see how it goes before I make the investment in M&T...since I have a 3.0/3.5 MM and the 2E Monstrous Manual at my disposal.

thanks in advance :)

Honestly, there's not much to it. . .

D&D 3x AC is comparable to C&C AC. Ditto Hit Dice. C&C does not use feats, so you can ignore those. Ditto skills. Special abilities work per description as they did in earlier editions of D&D (e.g., if your monster can only be hit by silver weapons. . . it can only be hit by silver weapons).

The only thing that will need actual converting is XP, and you'll have to ask somebody else about that -- I just used it as is, 'cause I didn't want to be bothered with doing the math (that said, it didn't unbalance the game any).
