Converting Greyhawk monsters

Nothing wrong with a "cloak or resistance"? :p

I'll agree to the change on the 16th level one. Looks good.

It's perfectly grammatical, I don't see what you're fussing about. ;)

Besides, that cloak's made of cloth of gold you see, and gold is "Or" in French, of course.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Updated (whew!)

For the feats, start with Weapon Focus (greatsword) and Weapon Specialization (greatsword), then move on to the greater versions as they meet the prereqs? Throw Improved Critical (greatsword) into the mix beginning with 8th level? Maybe some bow feats and those from the Mounted Combat chain?

I wouldn't spend many (if any) feats on Bows, wouldn't it be better to go for the Power Attack and Mounted Combat chains?

For the captain, then:

WF (greatsword), Point-Blank Shot, Mounted Combat, Power Attack, Ride-By Attack, WS (greatsword)?

Looks good.

Absolutely. But if we have extra feats to spare...

Also, weren't we supposed to give 'em lances along with their other weapons?

A lance would be good, though it's only going to open up a couple of new feats (unless we want to go for the whole WF feat chain for that, too). We'll also need to revise the equipment list if we want to improve it at higher levels.

For the colonel, how about adding to the captain:
at 6th level: Spirited Charge and one of Trample/Cleave/Imp Sunder
at 8th level: Imp Crit (greatsword)

Can't get him both Imp Crit and Greater Weapon Focus 'cause he's only got one feat at 8th level so far.

Just thinking: should we spell out the additional powers of the weapons due to unholy armaments? And should we specify whether the enhancement from the unholy armaments stacks or overlaps with any other enhancements? 'Cause some of the samples have other enhancements on their greatswords, bows, etc.

Maybe let's sort that before continuing with the feats.

We can fix it easily enough by adding "If a fiend knight wields a magic weapon the weapon properties from Infernal Weapons overlap with those of the magic weapon. The enhancement bonuses do not stack."
