I think we should, since the clerical skills are probably more useful to it.

So be it! Updated.

Cleric ranks: Concentration 4, Knowledge (the planes) 4?
1st-level Human bonus ranks: Spellcraft 4?

Fighter ranks: Intimidate 8, Ride 8?

Do human bonus ranks have to be from the class list of the level taken (or be treated as cross-class)?

I feel we need more ranks in Concentration, even if they cost double, due to the spells and spell-like abilities.

I don't think the rules say one way or the other. IMO it makes sense that you treat them as a hobby skill and allow them to be spent on cross class skills.

Makes sense, since they're "extra" points. Might as well add some more to Concentration then.

Googling around, it looks like human bonus skills are still limited to the current level's class list of skills.

This is the closest thing to an official clarification I could find:

Characters With Class: Martial Character Races

Exactly how to spend a human's resources depends on the martial class you select. For example, a human fighter might spend his extra skill points on perception skills such as Spot or Listen (albeit cross class), just to help avoid unpleasant surprises.
