"Pungency" is ok. I would agree with a range limit. Does that 100 ft range work for you?

How's this:

Pungency (Ex): A bielgorad exudes a strong noxious stink. All creatures with a sense of smell within 100 feet of a bielgorad can make free Spot checks (DC 5 plus 1 per 10 feet of distance) to notice the odor. Creatures with bonuses to scent-based skill checks, such as wolves' +4 racial bonus on Survival checks when tracking by scent, can add that bonus to the Spot check. Creatures unfamiliar with bielgorad can identify the smell with a DC 20 Knowledge (the Planes) check.
Could you write a proposed Net entry?

Sure.

Immobilizing Net (Su): Every bielgorad carries a special enchanted net. If a creature dazed by a bielgorad's shepherd's crook is dropped into the immobilizing net held by another bielgorad (a standard action by the crook-wielding bielgorad and a readied action by the net-holding bielgorad), the creature must succeed at a DC 18 Will saving throw or be dazed for as long as it remains wrapped in the net and within 10 feet of the bielgorad who held it. An Immobilizing net cannot be used as an Exotic Throwing Weapons like a normal combat net. The save DC is Charisma-based and includes a +4 enhancement bonus.
Or maybe:

Immobilizing Net #2 (Su): Every bielgorad carries a special enchanted net. An allt can free a creature trapped in an immobilizing net as a standard action, ending the daze. The save DC is Charisma-based and includes a +4 enhancement bonus.

That Pungency is ok.
I also like the first version of the Immobilizing Net. I have to confess that I am puzzled by the "allt" in Net #2. I can't find a reference to that monster anywhere (or an "alit" or "allit" except as a mis-spelling of "allip"). But is the intent that an ability similar to freedom of movement should free the victim?

Updating Bielgorad Working Draft with the Pungency.

The "allt" is a typo of "ally."

Do we want some rule as to how to remove the net? The SRD of a standard combat net has:

An entangled creature can escape with a DC 20 Escape Artist check (a full-round action). The net has 5 hit points and can be burst with a DC 25 Strength check (also a full-round action).

That said, it is more comparable to a magic item, specifically:

Rope of Entanglement A rope of entanglement looks just like any other hempen rope about 30 feet long. Upon command, the rope lashes forward 20 feet or upward 10 feet to entangle a victim. An entangled creature can break free with a DC 20 Strength check or a DC 20 Escape Artist check.

The rope has AC 22, 12 hit points, and hardness 10, and it has damage reduction 5/slashing as well. The rope repairs damage to itself at a rate of 1 point per 5 minutes, but if a rope of entanglement is severed (all 12 hit points lost to damage), it is destroyed.
Hmm… that suggests an ally attempting to remove a net should be a full-round action and maybe involve a skill or Strength check or damaging the net, or perhaps some kind of contest with the Bielgorad holding the net?

Ahh, ok.
What about a DC 20 Str or Use Rope check for the ally?

Breaking a regular net is DC 25, so we could use that instead of the DC 20 Strength check of a rope of entanglement?

I like the idea of Use Rope as that skill doesn't see much use.

How's this:

Immobilizing Net (Su): Every bielgorad carries a special enchanted net. If a creature dazed by a bielgorad's shepherd's crook is dropped into an immobilizing net held by another bielgorad (a standard action by the crook-wielding bielgorad and a readied action by the net-holding bielgorad), the creature becomes entangled and must succeed at a DC 18 Will saving throw or be dazed for as long as it remains in the net and is within 10 feet of the bielgorad who owns it. If the entangled creature is able to act, they can escape as a full-round action with a DC 25 Strength check or a DC 20 Escape Artist check. An allied creature can free the creature with a DC 20 Use Rope check (also a full-round action).

The net has AC 22, 12 hit points, and hardness 10, and it has damage reduction 5/slashing as well. The net repairs damage to itself at a rate of 1 point per 5 minutes, but if an immobilizing net is severed (all 12 hit points lost to damage), it is destroyed.

An Immobilizing net cannot be used as an Exotic Throwing Weapons like a normal combat net. The save DC is Charisma-based and includes a +4 enhancement bonus.

Yes, looks good to me!

Linked equipment sounds fine and fairly standard. In fact, wouldn't the normal thing to do be putting a line in each of the crook and net descriptions?
