For me, it was Fireborn from FFG. I didn't actually see a copy -- running the Masters and Minions tournament had me busy almost nonstop during exhibitor hours -- but hearing Psion talk about it at the Ram was good enough for me. I love the idea of simultaneously roleplaying in the present (as a magically talented human) and in the past (as a dragon!).

Of course, given the lateness of the hour and the cookedness of my brain, I might have gotten the details of Fireborn completely wrong (or even mistaken who it was that told me about it), but I think that's a cool idea in any case!

Green Ronin doing Thieves Wotrld. Okay, not actually out yet but the biggest news I've heard in the RPG Industry since third edition was announced.

Bellbottomed Badasses on the Mean Streets of Funk by Z-Man Games. This is their latest of their B movie card games.

The new Relics and Rituals: Olympus was the one book I picked up that I was unaware of. Its another solid book by Sword and Sorcery.

Well this year I discovered X-Crawl probably the most fun OGL campaign and sigularly fun adventure since d20 has been realeased.

Then the newest expansion of the b movie maker from Z-Man; Bell Bottomed Bad Asses from the Mean Streets of Funk. Awesome.

Then there is Pirates of the Spanish Main. Waited all Con to demo this game but there was always a wait. Then Teflon Billy invited me in on a game at the Canadiana suite. Even though I did notget to play to any denoument of the game as I had to leave early. It was how our Canadian friends say "a hoot"

The Seraph of Earth and Stone

I looked all over for Tac-Tiles and couldn't find them. Rather than break down and buy the small Chessex mat, I decided to wait and give Tac-Tiles my money all internet-like.

So... That leaves me with my coolest purchase of the con:

A 1" hole punch.

Yep. Awesome. Good bye dusty magic card collection, hello 1" round tokens GALORE.

/me blinks.

Wow. Images of me getting some use out of those 2 2' long cardboard boxes.

I found these clever little boxes put out by Cheesemonkey that would hold cards for your CCGs and even a box that would hold 2 minis, a small character sheet a few dice and a small pencil. You could also buy magnets for various themes and RPGs to put on the little metal box. They were only about 8 bucks and I thought they were awesome.
