Yeah, I was also looking for them Tact-Tiles. . .but no luck. I'm most excited with Paranoia XP and the Dark Champions!

Hoody Hoo!

Didn't go to GenCon, but Pirates of the Spanish Main came my way via Origins, and it looks absolutely great. Only played it a little here and there though, not even a complete game yet. But my next door neighbor keeps raving about it.

I'd also agree that the most exciting announcement I heard was Thieves' World from Green Ronin. Are those guys just the kings of cool licensed products anymore or what?

....That leaves me with my coolest purchase of the con:

A 1" hole punch.

Yep. Awesome. Good bye dusty magic card collection, hello 1" round tokens GALORE.

First HoHF: Dwarves, then Grim Tales, now this?

You've got to take some time off being a genius and give someone else a chance:)

Jeez that hole punch thing's a hot idea:)

GenCon Goodies

I discovered the Battle Box from Fiery Dragon. I bought it Friday and we used it that night. The rep at their booth said Monte Cook had done the same thing and had loved it. High praise!

I also picked up Caverns of Thracia for use in my new Wilderlands campaign. Another great product from Necromancer!

Finally, I'm making my first foray into the world of resin! I bought some ruined walls and a blacksmith's shop that I will paint up for practice. My next purchase will be a larger tavern!

Hey, let's not be hasty here.... if anyone's just going to go destroy a bunch of old Magic cards, why not send 'em to me and I'll photocopy you some tokens. ;)

Anyways... I didn't get to Gencon... had no intention of doing so, I didn't know how nicely it would have worked out until it was far too late. But had I gone, I'm sure I would have discovered me a copy of Mechamorphosis, which looks awesome. :)

For me, it was Ex Machina from Guardians of Order.

Nice CyberPunk book, and the first dx mechanic book that I've truly enjoyed.
