I agree completely. There's nothing wrong with talking about the law in general terms. Heck, it obviously needs some more discussion given how convoluted it is. But there is a huge difference between "hey copyright law is this way generally" and "here is how copyright law applies to you." Get a lawyer for the latter.

Actually, I would like to see a new thread on IP laws in DnD settings. That'd be fun (if you're a law nerd like me, anyway).
