Dude, Lolth should be winning this thing, not getting voted off! What the hell is wrong with you people?

I voted Moradin. Ulaa is the only true dwarven deity!

Obad-Hai. With Ehlonna there, he's just completely superfluous; I prefer to have there be maybe one nature god, and after that have nature be a non-divine force that can be worshipped. Obad-Hai is just the o-bad-guy.

You know Obad-Hai existed before Ehlonna. If anyone is intruding, it's her.

Pfft.

Lolth = "d00d, my 584th level assassin/barbarian/rogue/dragon disciple half-fiend female drow has a spider god! 1337!"

For what it's worth, having Ehlonna and Obad-Hai in the same pantheon is one of the few things about the Greyhawk pantheon that reads as realistic to me. Pantheons are messy and have overlap. And, while some people might sneer at the Goddess of Cutesy Nature, you can't say if gamers really did represent a population of a game world that there wouldn't be a lot of people whose vision of nature would line up with Ehlonna. (Frankly, given the romanticising so many modern Americans do about nature, I think Ehlonna would have a LOT more worshippers than some old fart who was the Green Man before he lost his sense of humor and lusty nature.)

And yeah, Lolth is a million missed opportunities. Moving her over to being neutral evil (I know, heresy) and losing the chaos-for-its-own-sake stuff would be an improvement. Spiders are too iconically methodical to be wasted on chaos.

Voted Bahamut this time.

Of all racial deities this is maybe the one which I cannot think about any purpose at all.

- it does basically nothing except being the god of dragons
- it even isn't the god of all dragons, only the good ones
- if there is a race of uber-powerful creatures who probably need worship no-one, they are dragons

At least Tiamat could be the goddess of Greed, or be considered just a very powerful demon, but Bahamut really has little meaning.

I was assaulted by a spider this morning while taking the garbage to the curb.

I'm sick of your games, Lolth! Begone!

Some of the deities (e.g. Kurtulmak, Obod-hai) are more forgettable than annoying.

I have had some pretty grueling encounters with Kabolds in the past, and not just at low levels. My DM loves to use them because they are worth almost no experience and can really work you over...

Your DM does know that experience should be modified to suit the encounter, right?. RAW kobolds with their wimpy armor and weak weapons are a low CR. Take the same kobolds and beef them up with light crossbows, scale armor, alchemical weapons and an ambush and they should be worth more XP.
