That would work.

It would be especially good if this was used quite literally!

(If the PCs are up against three "Ogre Soldier" monsters that had this ability, the mark that they'd all place on PCs would be "Ogre Soldier's Mark", thus removing the need to keep individual monster marks separate.)

Of course, in tournament play, you'd probably have to make sure players don't all register under the same name...

Hmmm.....I think I dislike a house rule of "more than one mark on a target is possible". There are lots of reasons that tweak would be a Bad Idea(tm).
