I know that, but it creates inherent imbalance between classes, Cha based casters will have a field day and rest can go F themselves.
Well its the lesser of the two.

So if you have Charisma 20 but Constitution 12, you still mutate out at 12 Corruption.

Just physically not mentally.
 


I think I’d also want to know what a corruption feat “means”, in the narrative. Is it a ritual the character does to gain that power? Is it just a grant from dark forces, hoping that the character will do something bad? Is it something the character sought out, or was it unwanted?
All of the above. The intent is when they reach a certain corruption level (tempted into it) they gain an extra feat. It is also intended that the feat feels associated with the type of corruption. I.e. void would be different than rage.

Player and DM work out flavor.
