According to Dagens Nyheter scientists on a mission aboard icsbreaker Oden to Antarctica accidentally got something alive hooked on their deep sea probe. The probe is supposed to measure preassure and salt level and various stuff. However somthing got hooked on the probe and was raised, almost, to the surface. Typically, it got loose and disappeared. It couldn't have been a giant squid because tissue samples don't match. It was big, several square meters and heavy.

Yeah, I know it lacks credibility but I really like it when scientists almost find stuff.

When I read this, I imagine someone in overalls and a dusty old ten gallon hat trying to give a friendly warning to some city slickers. Which, of course, gives me an idea for a game.
