Could Mirage Arcana be used to cause someone to drown themselves?

Do your groups normally proceed at 5' / round instead of the more normal 60'+ double move?
In dungeons? Trying to be quiet and avoiding traps? Unless the party is already fleeing from something (and then they'll definitely NOT flee into unknown terrain) I don't see them double-moving anywhere.

Maybe my players are more suspicious than yours but mine usually proceed at the mind-blowing speed of 30 feet per 10 minutes or slower. A small dungeon (2 hallways and 4 rooms) usually takes 3-4 days to explore.

But that is beyond the point. Saves are reactionary. How long does it take for a fireball to happen? Long enough to realize your skin is burning off? Not really: instantaneous is very fast; but still a save is allowed, no penalties and before damage is assessed.

Ciao
