Crafting arrows

I'm kind of confused on exactly how to figure this up. Can someone please break it down for me and explain how it works? I've never used a craft skill before and the fact that a gp worth of arrows is actually 20 arrows is throwing me off when I figure out how many arrows can be made per day vs week.

If the DC is 12, how much will it cost & how many arrows can you make a day & a week?

One arrow is worth 5cp.
You can create ( DC x result ) / 2 arrows per week's worth check, with a maximum of the amount you got raw materials for, assuming your result beat the DC.
You can create ( DC x result ) /5 arrows per day's worth check, same restrictions as above.

So if the DC is 12 and you roll a 15, you multiply those together? I got that part but I don't understand the next part or what you do with the 12x15 result.

So say you are trying to get how many arrows you can make in a day...
If the check times the DC is greater than the cost of the item in CP (per day) then you succeeded.

DC12, rolled 15. 15x12=180; 20 arrows=100cp, therefore you succeeded in making 20 arrows that day.

If you had wanted to make 40 arrows though... you would have missed & per javcs's divide by 5 you could have complete 36 arrows with a roll of 15 in one day

Personally I wouldn't make the craft DC for an arrow 12 though, 10 at most I think as DC12 is for Bows and those are much harder to make than an arrow...
