Crafting Magical +1 Items

In another thread I was asked to post some fluff for magic items, after I told people that I try to give all magic items a background story.

I was asked but you cant do that when the character have a craft feat. Aka what is the story of the sword +1: Well I made it yesterday…

Well here I try to give crafting magic items some fluff, and also character crafted magic items a background story.

First Ill give some examples for wizards crafting Weaponry (Very rare, since I don’t know any wizard with the craft arms and armor feat)

Diviner:
After you created a Dowsing rod of pure glass/wood/meta/other appropriate material with two small cut gemstones (Gemstone can by any type of stones, but try to match the gemstones to the crafted item) in each arm of the dowsing rod.
You then started to search the lay lines needed to focus the magic. You found the focus point of the lay lines where the dowsing rod shatters and placed the item there for 144 minutes with the shattered remains from the dowsing rod. Some pieces seemed to meld into the item while enchanting it. The items started to absorb the magic and became a nice Item +1

Necromancer
You want to enchant a great weapon, made by the mastersmith Dwinlon of the Seven Rivers. After carefull examination of the weapon, you notice that the smith probably cut himself while crafting the weapon, and his blood was absorbed into the weapon. You know that you can bind blood from a magical creatue to the blood of the smith, spreading the magic of the creature thru the weapon so it gain a magical enchantment. So after a you bought blood from several magical and planar creatures you soaked the weapon in it and put the magical enchantment in so now it is a nice +1 weapon.

Conjurer
The art of enchanting a magic weapon is of course something that you don’t want to do youself. But since some big oaf wanted it ayway, you dicided that for a fee you could help him. So with some fine artwork to pay the spirits you want to summon it will be easy, if not for the day of negotiating the price, you know what it will cost, but still the stupid spirits always try to take more than the usual price. You decide that a mountain spirit will do for the minor enchantments that will be needed to craft the item, and with minor preparations you invite the spirit and start negotiating. After the price is finaly met the spirit whispers a word of power and the item get a Nice +1 enchantment

More will follow, but I am a little short on time... If people like to add fluff i would appriciate it

I'd leave this up to the player, and let them decide if it's one of the abilities they want to fluff out. I'd definitely respond to this positively if you asked my rainbow mage "What is the process Chroma is using to craft that magic dagger?" I'd say, "Well, he visits the forge of the Dwarven wizard he learned Craft Magic Arms and Armor from, from the locked windows and chimney escape colorful magical effects like in Sleeping Beauty, and after a few days he emerges with a dagger with a magical prism in the handle." I had fun imagining that, but it's nothing the DM could have done for me because I'm the one who really knows my character's style.
