Crafting golems and constructs

I would suggest adapting the companion rules from DMG2. Turning a golem into a companion is not hard and it would work great.

There was a Dragon mag article a few months back with a ritual to create a Scarecrow golem and it used the companion rules. You could use that directly or base your own ritual on that one.

Oh, yeah. Dungeon 183. That one is limited to a fixed spot, but it's an excellent template.
